where were you dave?

Last night Greg and I went to his company holiday party. For the people running around like headless chickens before Christmas delivering boxes of joy and good tidings, January seems like a better time to have a holiday party. This is the first party we've been to. In previous years, one thing or another has happened and we haven't gone. 

Now, I really only know one of Greg's colleagues. I was kinda counting on that one person to be there. I'd feel a little more at ease walking into a room full of strangers if I knew two people ~ Greg plus the one person. 

That person was a no show. 

To bad that person missed an evening of my witty banter.

I did meet some new people. The food was delicious. The company was charming. There was even dancing by the Robinsons. A rather nice evening, indeed.
